Apprentice qualifies in the KD Marine Dive Technician Development Programme

24-01-2019

We are delighted to announce that long-term staff member Josh Frampton has successfully completed his Scottish Modern Apprenticeship in the KD Marine Dive Technician Development Programme. Josh has worked with KD Marine since 2014, starting his working life as a rigger on an Anchor Handler vessel during our second campaign on the Haewene Brim project for Blueawater. After some time, he showed an interest in the KD Marine workshop and the equipment pool and requested an opportunity to develop himself as a dive technician. KD Marine quickly recognised Josh’s potential, enthusiasm and drive and so enrolled him first in a mechanical apprenticeship programme which would allow him to progress to the highly respected in-house Dive Technician Development Programme. Josh is the 8th KD Marine Technician to achieve this status in the last 5 years. Josh’s professional development is a good example of KD Marine’s commitment to staff recruitment, development and retention. The KD Marine team send Josh many congratulations on his achievement and are confident that he will play an important role in KD Marine’s future successes.
