We sat down with Martin Cox to discuss SMM.
“SMM is one of our favourite exhibition events to attend, as it consistently proves to be a fantastic occasion to meet our network partners and our customers and to make new contacts in the Commercial Maritime Industry. Being in the British Pavilion this time around, promotes more freedom for our team to network and to “listen”, so as to position ourselves for more development opportunities. This year, we’re excited to participate in the British pavilion as a change to our usual stand location. Having participated in Kormarine in Korea last year and experiencing the British pavilion, we were enthusiastic about the prospect of repeating this experience at the Hamburg Event”.
This year, we will showcase our essential products: the X2 VDR Series, our Mini Data Recorder Series, and our NEW SMIDS Pro SDME Docking System, which is designed for multiple applications, including the Panama Canal’s new mandated criteria on Non-Portable Piloting Aids.
Please contact us if you wish to schedule a meeting at enquiries@amimarine.com. We are looking forward to seeing you at the event!
SMM
The world’s leading trade fair for the maritime industry
With over 2,000 exhibitors and about 40,000 visitors worldwide, the SMM (Shipbuilding, Machinery and Marine Technology Trade Fair) continues to cement its position as the most important event in the maritime industry calendar.
The trade fair offers a perfect platform for gathering insights, networking, cementing business deals, and contributing to debates with the sector’s leaders.
The extremely high number of visitors in recent years underscores the diversity of the trade fair’s demographic. Not only are top shipbuilders, key players in the value chain, operators, and service providers attending SMM, but it is also a unique chance to rub shoulders with representatives of industry, government, navies, and the scientific community.
After the last SMM, exhibitors expressed total satisfaction with the fruitful discussions before, during and after the event, many of which opened the door to promising post-fair business.
SMM truly reflects industry trends. With over half of the visitors coming to observe new technology and innovations, exhibitors enjoy measurable success during and after the trade fair. Connections made at the trade fair often result in follow-up equipment and service sales in the millions of euros.
SMM has never been more vital regarding international participation, business visitor profiles, and government and naval organisation involvement.
If setting or witnessing trends is essential, you’re in excellent company at SMM.
