The up-rating of the carrying capacity of your vehicle is basically a paperwork exercise (except some greater weigh up-grades will require the fitting of a load assistance kit, such as our semi air suspension kits), and the only company we know who has the legal authority to do this is SV Tech who co-ordinate their paperwork with DVLC/VOSA (or what ever they currently call themselves). It is possible to purchase new VIN plates cheaply via the internet, however they�re not legal and certainly not linked to DVLC/VOSA in any way.Here�s contact details for SV Tech.
